HD Keane welcomes the announcement that Sanofi Waterford (formerly Genzyme) is to hire an additional staff in the near future.
This job announcement is great news for the local Waterford economy and are in addition to the 165 new jobs announced in June by Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories(Waterford).
Earlier in June Ernst & Young announced that Ireland would be one of the main beneficiaries of 270 new jobs. In April, Waterford received the welcome news that Opka healthcare was to create 200 new jobs in the city over the next five years.
In January ADI Engineering Solutions announced plans to create 500 jobs in three locations, namely Dublin, Cork and Waterford.
2016 has been a great year for job creation in Waterford which signals to international investors that the city is a buoyant, competitive city which is no doubt very open for business and a local economy which is set to grow even further in the near future.
